T he famous motivational speaker Tony Robbins says that “By changing nothing, nothing changes.” I appreciate that outlook because Total Life Changes was built on the idea that we can change our situation for the better.

By “situation,” I’m thinking of a lot of different things. When I started TLC, I was looking for a professional change. I was tired of my job on the assembly line. I felt I was being called to do something different. I needed a change, and I thought I understood that other people did, too.

Choosing Change

The products and programs we develop at TLC help people make a change to their wellness situation. We hope the community we’ve built around our products supports those efforts. Making lasting changes to your eating and exercising habits can be difficult, but few things have as powerful an impact on our lives as deciding to treat our bodies better.

Our Life Changer program is aimed at helping people make changes to their financial situation. Some Life Changers are looking for a little extra cash, and some are hoping to make much larger professional changes. We are here to help with whatever transition someone is hoping to make.

The people at TLC understand how scary change can be because most of us have been faced with change in the past. Sometimes, change is forced upon you, and other times, change is a result of deep contemplation. Sometimes we’re excited about the changes in our lives, and other times, we’re afraid of what the future might look like.

Sometimes life throws challenges we weren’t expecting, and sometimes we create the need for change because of our own decisions. Sometimes, we need to make changes because those changes can be life-saving.

The Change Challenge

I want to challenge you today to identify some place in your life that could benefit from a change and make a commitment to working for that change. Write it down. Include it in your journal or your Action Guide. Make a plan to enact that change.

Tony Robbins is right. We can’t expect things to change if we don’t change some things. Life goes by too fast to waste it not taking the steps to live the life we deserve. Let’s promise each other, and ourselves, that we won’t wait to make the changes we know need making, and to make the lives we know we should be living.
